Soup and Sew

You’ll be able to sew from 9.30am to 4.30pm each day - you just bring your own sewing machine, your sewing notions and whatever project you’re keen to work on... quilts, dressmaking, soft furnishings, bags - even knitting & crocheting. If you can stitch it, you can work on it!

There will be a maximum of 20 people, with everyone having their own table and also having the use of a couple of regular sized ironing boards, irons as well as a cutting table.  The cost will include a choice of 2 homemade soups with bread/rolls each day, and bottomless tea/coffee along with a selection of biscuits/cake/snacks all day.  [And it’ll be no problem to cater for dietary requirements such as Coeliacs and vegetarians.]

The cost will be £35/day (or £60/weekend by using the monthly discount code) - simply select and drop it into your basket.  

If you’d like to join us for the weekend, you’ll be able to leave your sewing machine in a locked room overnight on the Saturday evening for peace of mind whilst everything else can just stay on your own table ready for the next day.  It’ll be a kinda home from home scenario - you’ll be there to sew all day and work on your project at your own pace whilst we take care of everything else.

Please note - the sewing room is located upstairs of the village hall, however there is lift for those with mobility issues or maybe you have a particularly heavy sewing machine. Our room is heated/ air conditioned for comfort & the venue has a large car park.
